The Fault in our Education: Religious Discrimination in Schools in Pakistan

The word “theatre” has a greek origin and it means “the seeing place”. It is a place where people often come to see the state of their society and the plight of their community so we decided to use this platform to do just that. Following is a play on religious discrimination in Pakistan. People belonging to different faiths, face tremendous issues in schools from both the teachers and their peers resulting in a high drop out rate of these groups. A successful country needs to have equal citizenship for all its citizens regardless of their religion, sect or ethnicity. ¬†We must be dedicated towards this goal, for a successful Pakistan is not possible without the participation of all Pakistanis. Even though Pakistan has a majority of Muslim population, the presence of non muslim Pakistanis cannot be ignored and steps must be taken to ensure that they are living in the same Pakistan that their muslim counterparts are.
